Short history of our school...
stratjvari music and more
Stratjvari is a cultural association created with the aim of bringing adults and children closer to the world of art, and in particular to the world of music.
Founded in 2010, the school is located in a 17th-century building in the historic center of Palermo, and finds the right mix of an informal but thoroughly professional environment, guaranteed by the proven artistic experience of its teachers who give life to the Stratjvari family!
Finally, since 2017, the school has also integrated the Stratjvari Recording Lab, a recording, mix & mastering studio, with the aim of contributing to the creation of musical products aimed at the pure popularization of Palermo's underground music in all its genres, through a process of artistic creation.
Teresa di lorenzo
The school's director, Teresa Di Lorenzo, is a certified Estill Voicecraft (CFP) modern voice teacher, vocal coach and lecturer, and her training and professional and artistic experience have enabled her to make Stratjvari a “Voice Centre,” or “A place where the Voice is at the Centre of everything, as self-expression in relation to art and daily life.”
In this regard, as a Voice Centre, it caters to professional and amateur singers, actors/actresses, individuals with problems related to the phonatory apparatus, school teachers and anyone who works with voice, or simply for those who want to sing for pleasure, to help them in an educational path aimed at the Care of the Voice itself.
As a promoter of the arts, Stratjvari has always organized artistic cultural events, such as concerts, music essays, Masterclasses, and Stages, as a time of gathering, sharing, and growth for both students and anyone who wants to have direct experience with music.
